Budgeted Disease Interdiction
I delivered this talk at the Southwest Regional INFORMS in Texas A&M in April of 2008. It discusses how to use Markov decision processes (MDPs) to model disease interdictions. In addition, it has some general methods for designing the action space of MDPs. A more thorough discussion of the malaria related results is presented here.
